Event Management Case Sharing: AIM Conference Series – AI For Business: Empowering Hong Kong’s Next Wave of Growth

As Hong Kong accelerates its digital transformation, effectively aligning policy vision, industry innovation, and business momentum has become a key topic of public interest. Harnessing artificial intelligence (AI) to boost productivity, drive business growth, optimize marketing, and scale operations is now a cornerstone for boosting long-term competitiveness and resilience.

Organized by Hong Kong Association of Interactive Marketing and empowered by Meta, the AIM Conference Series —“AI For Business: Empowering Hong Kong’s Next Wave of Growth” was successfully held on January 20, 2026. The event brought together government representatives, business leaders, technology innovators, and marketing professionals to explore how AI can create sustainable growth opportunities for enterprises. Team Prologue supported the Association in organizing the conference, providing end-to-end services including key visual design, content development, social media promotion, guest invitation and coordination, program planning, venue and logistics management, on-site production and setup, guest hospitality, and multimedia production.


The conference featured two main sessions—beginning with a discussion on macro policy perspectives, followed by in-depth sharing of AI transformation case studies, demonstrations of AI-powered creative and marketing tools, and practical examples across multiple industries. Through these targeted sessions, the event empowered SMEs to better understand and capture the immense opportunities created by AI.

The conference was honored to have Prof Dong Sun, JP, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, as officiating guest. Digital Policy Office and various speakers from business sector shared insights on how generative AI is reshaping business models, streamlining operations, and unlocking new potential growth. Featuring a variety of interactive sessions and hands-on experiences, the event attracted more than 200 participants and created a highly engaging environment for cross-industry dialogue and collaboration.

In his opening remark, Prof Dong Sun, JP, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, emphasized the importance of seizing the global wave of AI development and making the best use of Hong Kong’s unique advantages to jointly foster a vibrant and competitive AI industry ecosystem that brings greater benefits and opportunities to society.

Mr Francis Fong, Chairman of the Hong Kong Association of Interactive Marketing, stated that the Association will continue to uphold its dual mission of promoting AI adoption and enhancing AI literacy by organizing more related events to help different sectors master AI technologies and raise awareness of safe AI practices.

The first panel discussion brought together Ms Joanne Wong, Assistant Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (Compliance, Global Affairs and Research), PCPD; Mr Martin Liu, Assistant Director – AI & Data, HKSTP; and Mr Tommie Lo, Founder of Preface. Moderated by Ms Maggie Tam, Head of Public Policy, Hong Kong, Meta the session focused on how enterprises can effectively leverage AI while balancing responsibility, growth, and compliance.
