As Hong Kong actively drives the development of its life and health technology sector, the demand for emerging talent with cross-disciplinary perspectives continues to grow. In the 2026/27 Budget, the HKSAR Government outlined plans to integrate the development of life and health technology at upstream, midstream and downstream levels, providing clearer policy support for talent cultivation in the sector. The Hong Kong Life Sciences Society (HKLSS) Mentorship Scheme has consistently bridged experienced industry professionals with young talent, helping mentees move from theory to practice and laying an important foundation for the sustainable growth of Hong Kong's life sciences ecosystem.
Team Prologue supported this project by crafting press release and distribution and reaching out to media to secure coverage, successfully attracting coverage from media including Ta Kung Pao, Wen Wei Po, Hong Kong Economic Times and TVB.

This year’s Kick-Off and Spring Gathering was successfully held in early March. The current cohort has admitted over 110 mentees, with mentors spanning business development, data analytics, healthcare, investment and science communication, building a platform for the industry to pass on knowledge and forge lasting connections. The event featured a keynote speech and an alumni sharing session. Prof Tony MOK, Chairman of the Department of Clinical Oncology, Faculty of Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, delivered a keynote titled “From Discovery to Commercialization”, illustrating the practical application of scientific breakthroughs.

The alumni chat session featured Dr Carol LEE, a 2021-cohort mentee who has served as a young mentor since 2025, with mentees Lucky TSOI (2023–25) and Brandon JULIO HADISAPUTRO (2024–26), to share their growth and key takeaways throughout their mentorship journeys. The Young Mentors Scheme, a companion initiative to the Mentorship Scheme, invites alumni aged 35 or below to mentor undergraduate freshmen and college students, provide targeted and practical guidance on academics and careers.
