The “Jockey Club Collaborative Project for Inclusive Employment”, funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, was officially launched with a kick-off ceremony at D·PARK in Tsuen Wan on 2 May 2025. The event aimed to deepen public understanding of inclusive employment and brought together representatives from the government, business sector, community, and academia, fostering meaningful dialogue and exchange.
Team Prologue was honored to be entrusted with media liaison for the event, supporting media outreach, formulating comprehensive communication strategy, preparing and distributing bilingual media invitations and press releases, as well as welcoming media representatives at the opening ceremony. Following the event, the team arranged a feature interview, enabling the public to gain a deeper understanding of the positive changes brought about by the project for people with disabilities (PWDs), as well as their immense potential.

Chris Sun, Secretary for Labour and Welfare of the HKSAR Government, highlighted in his officiating speech that PWDs demonstrate outstanding abilities across various fields. He called on all sectors of society to recognise and appreciate their talents, and encouraged businesses to offer more employment opportunities, enabling PWDs to realise their full potential and foster an inclusive workplace. He also invited the public to actively participate in the Jockey Club Collaborative Project for Inclusive Employment Market Fair, as well as the “Caring Employer” medal and design competition under the Project and Labour and Welfare Bureau’s “Diverse Abilities.Inclusive Workplace Recognition Scheme”.

Jackson Woo, Steward of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, stated in his welcome speech that building a healthy community is one of the priority funding areas of the Club’s Charities Trust. The Club has all along been promoting the development of various types of rehabilitation services, and collaborating with different sectors to implement a variety ofprojects aimed at helping individuals in need integrate into the workplace. The “Jockey Club Collaborative Project for Inclusive Employment” synergises cross-sectoral efforts to enhance employment support for PWDs, providing them with greater opportunities for the future while promoting diversity, equity and inclusivity in the society.
