With generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) reshaping industries worldwide, a fundamental question arises: how should we drive AI governance and ensure the responsible use of AI? Team Prologue was delighted to coordinate the 【Hong Kong AI Governance Conference - Shaping the Future of Responsible GenAI in HK】for Hong Kong Association of Interactive Marketing (AIM). The conference was honored to have Professor Sun Dong, JP, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, as the officiating guest. Ir Tony Wong, JP, Commissioner for Digital Policy (DPO), and Ms Ada Chung, Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD), delivered keynote presentations to shed light on latest guidelines and policies surrounding AI governance. Key stakeholders from technology, business, and marketing sectors explored opportunities, addressed challenges posed by GenAI, and charted a path toward ethical adoption and sustainable AI governance in Hong Kong.
Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is rapidly reshaping industries on a global scale, presenting groundbreaking opportunities while also raising new challenges related to authenticity, privacy, copyright, and regulatory compliance. To help various industries better understand the latest GenAI policies and AI governance, and to promote responsible AI development and application within Hong Kong’s unique business and regulatory environment, Team Prologue supported AIM in organizing【Hong Kong AI Governance Conference】on May 30, 2025.
We were honored to welcome Professor Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, as our officiating guest. The event also featured distinguished speakers from the government, technology enterprises, business, and marketing sectors, who shared valuable insights on government policies and industry perspectives regarding AI governance. The conference attracted over 150 participants and fostered valuable discussions to deliberate the future direction of AI governance in Hong Kong.
The event included three panel discussions: “Responsible AI Development in Business Perspective”, “Cultivating AI Literacy and ensuring Privacy Protection in AI Development” and “Encouraging creativity with thoughtful copyright safeguards”.
